Hello, Friends let us start our first article on "Windows Short keys". We all are familiar with windows but many peoples still are not using the "wonderful keys" that windows provide to us for completing our day-to-day tasks more easily. The below mention keys are based on the Windows 10 version.

You have noticed this key (WIN KEY) on your Keyboard. Our today's article tells about these key combination tricks that are very useful in our daily life.

Pressing this wonderful with various key combinations; we do a variety of jobs instantly. 

  • WIN KEY  + A  >>  Open Notification Window (In this way you can change Bluetooth setting "On & Off", Clear Notification, and many more useful settings)
  • WIN KEY  + B >>  Go to Notification Area (Easily select the icons using arrow keys)
  • WIN KEY  + D >>  Very useful shortcut for displaying or hiding the  Desktop.
  • WIN KEY + E >>  Using this shortcut you can open File Explorer instantly
  • WIN KEY + G >>  It is used to open the Game Bar when the game is open.
  • WIN KEY + I >>  Open Settings window ( It is a very useful key combination to customize windows settings) 
  • WIN KEY + L >>  Using this combination you can Log out from your computer immediately or switch accounts.
  • WIN KEY + M >>  This shortcut key helps to minimize all the open windows.
  • WIN KEY + R >> This shortcut key helps to Open the Run box dialogue box.
  • WIN KEY + S >> This key opens Search Window. 
  • WIN KEY + U >> This key opens the "Ease of Access window".  (Here you can change Display, Cursor, Magnifier, High Contrast other important settings easily)
  • WIN KEY + V >> This is a very useful shortcut to open "Clipboard".  In case of clipboard history is not on, turn it on by >> WINKEY + I > SYSTEM > CLIPBOARD> TURN ON "CLIPBOARD HISTORY"
  • WIN KEY + X >> It Opens the "Quick Link Menu".  (Quick Link Menu is  a bunch of important shortcuts to access windows settings easily)
  • WIN KEY +  TAB >> It opens "Task View" (it helps in moving between open virtual desktop and windows)
  • WIN KEY +  Number (1,2 ....) >> This key opens the task menu app as per the position of the app on the taskbar.
  • WIN KEY + Pause Key >> This opens  "System Properties". 
  • WIN KEY + Comma (,) >> This key combination helps to peek at the Desktop temporarily in between working on some other application. 
  • WIN KEY + Dot or Semicolon Key >> Display Emoji Windows instantly
