1) How to format WhatsApp Messages? 

    
  • First select the Chats option.
    Chat Box

  • Tap once on a Contact to start a chat. 
  • Type a word or phrase and hold down for a moment to activate the Pop-up Menu.  (The following menu appear to format your text)

  Cut     Copy    Paste     Bold     Italic      Strikethrough    ⋮

Now, you can format text using the above tools. 
Furthermore, you can tap once on the triple vertical dot (⋮) & again a Pop-up Menu will appear to format the text. (The following menu appear after tapping three-dot )

Pop-up Menu 

  • Monospace = Change the font of text 

  • Share  = Share Message 

  • Translate = Convert the message in another language 

  • Bing Search  = Search the text on Bing Search Engine


2) Bookmark Important Message (*)

This is a very good trick to mark the important message with a sign of "*". It is really very helpful in locating the old chat or message in a jiffy.

    To bookmark the important message 
  • Open the chat by selecting a contact person 
  • Then, select the important message to bookmark it.
  • After selecting the message to be marked, tap the "*" button on Top Bar once. Your selected message is bookmarked.
  • Now, if you want to see all the (*) marked message of the same person.
  • Just click on the on Top of the Contact Screen  (where Video Call & Calling icons to appear)
  • Now tap once to open a window. 
  • Here you will see  "Starred Message" >> Just Tap once to open a window display all the important chat marked as "*"

3) Record Audio Clip on WhatsApp

You can easily create an audio clip chat on WhatsApp. It is quite known to everyone. 
  •  First open an individual chat. 
  •  Hold the Microphone icon to record your message.
  •  On completion of message remove your finger from Microphone. 
  •  Your Message is recorded and automatically sent to the contact. 
    To cancel recording >> Slide  the Microphone Symbol  towards left 

 But if you want to record a longer voice message just press the  Microphone symbol and slightly slide above to unlock the hands-free mode. ow, you can record longer clips.

    To stop recording voice message >> Press Cancel 
   
4)  Pin a Chat

This is also a  very useful feature available in WhatsApp. You can pin up to 3 favorite chats to whom you chat regularly. 

How to pin a Chat?

In Chat Menu >> Tap on the favorite chat >> tick mark appearance on chat and menu appeared on the top >> Now select the Drawing Pin Symbol to pin the chat.

How to unpin a Chat?

In Chat Menu >> Tap on the pinned chat >> then select the strikeout Pin mark on the top menu to unpin the chat.

5)  Listen to Voice Message privately in public places

This is a wonderful feature of WhatsApp. If you want to listen to an audio clip privately in public without having earphones.

YOU CAN DO SO BY THIS WAY 

First, turn on the audio clip (speaker mode). Then lift the phone up to your ear. Now, the clip will be turned on to earphone mode automatically.
