15 Useful Windows Shortcut Keys

Friends, I'm back with Part 2 of Windows Short Keys. In this article, I'll show you several new shortcut keys that you'll love. It will not only make your work easy, but it will also make it very fast. So, let's get started.

First Shortcut Win Key + Ctrl + D 

Virtual Desktop
Pressing these keys simultaneously creates a virtual Desktop. Virtual Desktop allows you to create numerous, distinct desktops, each with its own set of open windows and applications. It helps to keep work and personal items apart. 



Second Shortcut:  Win Key + Ctrl + Arrow Key (◀ /▶)

Desktop Navigation
After creating Virtual Desktops, now you can move easily with the help of the above-mentioned shortcut keys. With the help of these keys, you can jump to any Virtual Desktop easily.



Third Shortcut:  Win Key + Ctrl + F4

Close V-Desktop
After completing your work, if you want to close any Virtual Desktop, you can simply do this by typing the above shortcut key.




Fourth Shortcut:  Win Key + ◀ /  (Left / Right Arrow)

Snap Window
This shortcut helps to adjust the window to the left and right in order to accommodate two open windows on a computer screen.




Fifth Shortcut: Win Key +  Tab 

Task View
It helps to open the task view. In task view mode you can see your daily activity and create a virtual desktop easily. In this way, you can also navigate from one virtual desktop to another more easily.



Sixth Shortcut:  Win Key + Spacebar 

Keyboard Layout
This shortcut is used to shift your keyboard language from one language to another. Suppose, if you have used to input languages then you can easily shift to others using this shortcut.



Seventh Shortcut:  Win key + Ctrl + C

Logo-ColLogo-Mono

Turn on color filters (enable this shortcut first in Color Filter settings). Color filters change the color palette on the screen and can help you distinguish between things that differ only by colo






Eighth  ShortcutWin key + Cltrl + O 
OSK

To display the on-screen keyboard, if some keys are not working.
 



Ninth Shortcut: Shift + Delete

Delete
Delete the selected item without moving it to the Recycle Bin first.




Tenth Shortcut: Alt + F8

Password Box
Show your password on the sign-in screen. This is the shortcut for verifying your password during windows sign-in. 




Eleventh Shortcut: Windows logo key  + Shift + number

Application
Open the desktop and start a new instance of the app pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number.




Twelfth  ShortcutWindows logo key  + Ctrl + Shift + B

Blank Screen
Wake PC from the blank or black screen. This way you can wake up your PC instantly.




Thirteenth Shortcut: Win Key + "+"  - To Turn On Magnifier

Magnifier
13.1 Win Key + "-" (Minus)- Zoom In /Out           Magnifier

13.2 Win Key +  Esc  - To Turn Off   Magnifier 

Use the below shortcuts when Magnifier View is on. These shortcuts work in this view only.

13.3 Ctrl + Alt + D - To turn on Docked View 

13.4 Ctrl + Alt + F - Full Screen View 

13.5 Ctrl + Alt + L - Activate Lens View 

13.6 Ctrl + Alt + M - To cycle through the View 



Fourteenth Shortcut:  Ctrl +Shift+ Enter 

Admin
This shortcut is used to open the command prompt as System Administrator. 

Use this shortcut as shown below :

First Press  Winkey + R,  Open "Run Window"

Then

Type CMD and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter 

Now, Command Prompt will open in Administrator Mode.



Fifteenth  Shortcut:  Win Key + Ctrl + Enter

Narrator
This shortcut is used to open & close the "Narrator". The Narrator is a screen reader that reads text on the screen aloud and describes events like error messages so you can use your PC without a display.
